Daniel Gleaves – Veterinarian

Dr. Dan was born in Nashville and raised in Pleasant View. After attending MTSU for undergraduate school, he moved south to Auburn, Alabama, to attend veterinary school at Auburn University. Dr. Dan graduated from Auburn’s Veterinary College in 1988, married his college sweetheart, Susan, and moved to Atlanta to start his career in small animal medicine and surgery. It didn’t take long for Dr. Dan to decide that Pleasant View was the place he wanted to call home.

Dr. Dan moved back to Pleasant View in 1989 to begin working at Pleasant View Animal Hospital. He has loved working in Pleasant View and has enjoyed raising his seven children (Ashley, Evan, Brian, Heather, Jason, Landon, and Davin) and all their pets in the town where he grew up. When he’s not working on pets, he enjoys traveling with family, trying to play the banjo, golfing, woodworking, attending church fellowship, and playing with his granddaughter Effie and grandson Cirdan.
